FCAs that reflect what’s actually going on.
I’m Michael — occupational therapist and owner of Co-Capable Occupational Therapy, a registered NDIS provider based in Perth. I work with NDIS participants, their families and their support teams — providing therapy supports and Functional Capacity Assessments that accurately capture a person’s needs. Not watered down, not overstated — accurate. Because when the FCA is right, the NDIS funding that follows has the best chance of being right too, and that’s the difference between a plan that works and one that doesn’t.
I’ve worked as an OT in the NDIS space since 2019, and in disability support since 2017. I still love being at the coalface — meeting people, hearing their story and helping them get after their goals. Sincerity is a non-negotiable for me, in this work and everywhere else.
What I do
Functional Capacity Assessments — a comprehensive assessment and report (usually 20+ pages) covering what a person can do independently, what they can do with support, and what supports they need to live safely and get after their goals.
I have a car!
I’m a mobile service — I come to you, whether that’s home, school, work or out in the community. I service the Perth metro area and I’m based North of the River.

Registered NDIS provider
Co-Capable OT is registered with the NDIS Commission, which means I’ve met their quality and safety standards — the right qualifications, insurance and clearances. I work with self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed (also called agency-managed) participants, and FCAs are funded under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living Skills (also called CB Daily Activity) in your NDIS plan.
